Edwin and Imoen... Studying?

Resting in dungeons: Much more difficult and terrifying than video games give it credit for! Here we have Ulcaster Ruins from Baldur's Gate.

"Edwin! Edwin I can't sleep!"
"Nnh. What? Ugh, child, you are the only one. Go to sleep, the Circle is fine, the candles are still lit...."
"Edwin the ghouls are going to drag me out from the circle by my ankles! What happens if I wake up alone in the dark? What if you're all zombies? Edwwinnn! I CANT SLEEP! I'm going to cry!"
"Okay... (Time to use that overactive mind for something more productive...) Come here."
"Can I hide under your cloak?"
"Eh... Yes, Monkey. (If you can manage not to make a habit of it...)"


For the uninitiated, this is art for my fanfiction  Aegis of Candlekeep: [link]  which is incredibly long and uses almost the full cast, but primarily focuses on CHARNAME x Xzar. Lately in Part II, Edwin has ended up Imoen's magic tutor. 

You may notice I didn't have an easy time with Imoen's face in my last art XD I sketched her over and over and wasn't satisfied and used a reference to help, and  and then pinked her so there could be no doubt XD. Then when I pinked her, I had to splash some red on him. As this takes place some time in the future, it may offer some slight foreshadowing of events to come XD

I totally used artastrophe's Edwin to draw his robes, except that I gave him a heavier top cloak on top courtesy Imoen keeping him safe from rain and extra fire. His boots and pants on underneath are a recent development! There is just something very attractive about a wizard in sexy boots...
