Description

NOT AEGIS OF CANDLEKEEP

Part II

This comic was done as a gift for Kaispan ( artastrophe ) ! It is purely speculation about what might happen in Truth or Tale II (Truth or Tale can be found at This Location on Fanfiction.net

We see the protagonist, Sajantha, an elf wildmage/bard looking hard at her scars for the very first time after escaping the dungeon. Edwin takes issue with how careless she is- even after being hunted 'round the Western Heartlands by Sarevok and later kidnapped- and decides to confront her on the issue...

While she's half undressed and therefore he gets to see the scars as well.

And he does not appear to be happy about them.

Do they not teach *Knocking* in Thay?

The quality of the artwork here has increased drastically compared to your earlier ones.

The attention to detail in this comic is staggering:

1st panel:

Eyes, eyelashes, eyebrows, freckles, lips, hair, ears, fingers, neck, scaring.

2nd panel:

Fingers, door-knob, scratches on the door and frame.

Remaining panels:

EVERYTHING about the face. Edwin looks so much more world-weary than he does in your other artworks. What I especially love is the scruffiness of his facial hair, as though he had lately not taken the time to refine it.

Final panel:

A harsh reminder to the viewer/reader: perhaps he might see her as an ally or even a friend. But do not forget who he is and what he's capable of.

Seeing this comic made me very surprised; not only are you a fantastic writer, but are also improving almost-frighteningly-quickly with your artwork.

You're scary...

I am curious about the Truth or Tale series, but never got around to reading it...
